The road to leadership can be bumpy, but it doesn’t have to be.

Biz 417 is proud to announce the return of The Legacy Network presented by Commerce Bank–a program designed to enhance participants’ leadership skills, expand their network and amplify their influence to craft a lasting legacy. Hosted at Burrell Behavioral Health, this professional development program runs from September 2026 to March 2027 through six monthly sessions. Biz 417 is bringing together some of the brightest minds and subject matter experts in our region to develop curated programming, offer unparalleled access to mentors, foster connections within a peer network and ultimately elevate personal and professional growth.

 

This application-based program is ideal for those who have experience in a director or C-level position and are looking to build their skillset, vision and influence. If you have identified next generation leaders in your succession plan, this program is for them.

Why did we build this program?

A message from Biz 417 Publisher Logan Aguirre:

"When I think of where I have learned, and am still learning all the time, it’s from a circle of influence that I’ve been able to curate for myself. These are great mentors, leaders and business owners that I’ve had the opportunity to connect with through board service or, frankly, because my job provides us the opportunity to interview and share knowledge from the best in the business.

I reflected on two questions as we built out the content for this program.

  1. What did I have to figure out the hard way on my bumpy road to leadership?
  2. What do I want our leaders to be equipped with when they step into leadership roles?

As more and more top leaders retire, more and more high-performing leaders are going to be tapped to step into those roles. Let’s help them be as prepared as possible and also have a circle of influence to turn to when they need insight, help or just a reminder that, hey you’re doing great."

Who is this program for?

How much does joining The Legacy Network cost?
The Legacy Network membership is $4,100. If your company is sponsoring you and paying for the program in full, let us know if you anticipate needing anything from our team to help with approval or funding. We can provide an invoice upon request, or you will be able to complete payment online once accepted.
When do applications close?
Applications will close May 31, 2026. Those chosen by the selection committee to be a part of the cohort will be notified in June.
What is the time commitment for joining The Legacy Network?
This professional development program runs from September 2026 to March 2027 through a mix of full and half day monthly sessions.
