This full-day foundational session is designed to build momentum from the start—strengthening emotional intelligence and uncovering the habits that shape your influence.
CEO of JMARK Tom Douglas will facilitate “Own Your Journey” presentations from each participant. Attendees will also gain a clear framework for working with their mentor and maximizing the experience from day one.

Your Personal Brand

Your leadership is already speaking. The question is: are you shaping the message?
This session focuses on defining and elevating your personal leadership brand, guided by SpeakHer Coach Lori Robertson. Through guided exercises and real-time feedback, you’ll learn how to communicate your value, build visibility and show up consistently across every room you’re in.

As your influence grows, so does the complexity.
City Manager David Cameron will kick this session off by exploring what it takes to disrupt the tired leadership advice and level up your impact. Spencer Harris, president at Mostly Serious, will share practical frameworks for decisions you can put to work immediately.

The most effective leaders foster a culture of ownership for their teams.
In this session, you’ll learn from Jack Stack, CEO of SRC Holdings, how to empower your teams to own it because when employees feel like owners, everyone wins. Coach Perry at Nixa High School will equip attendees with tools to build resilience and create a culture of ownership inside your organization.

You’ll build practical strategies for managing your own mental health, learn how to support your team through challenges and strengthen your ability to lead when it matters most.

The last full-day session marks the beginning of what's next.
In this final capstone program day, you’ll step back to look ahead, covering everything from AI trends to how to continue carving out clarity breaks for yourself with Jill Phillips, executive coach. Through guided strategy work and peer insight, you’ll leave with a clear plan and the confidence to execute it.
